The US December 2013 international trade deficit increased 12.0 percent from November, to $38.7 billion.

The December 2013 international trade deficit increased 12.0 percent from November, to $38.7 billion. Exports decreased 1.8 percent, to $191.3 billion, and imports rose 0.3 percent, to $230.0 billion.
2013 international trade deficit decreased 11.8 percent to $471.5 billion. Exports rose 2.8 percent, to $2.3 trillion. Imports declined 0.1 percent, to $2.7 trillion.
