Winners of the 57th World Press Photo Contest have been announced in Amsterdam. The jury gave prizes in nine categories to 53 photographers, including three Chinese photographers.
Among them, Jia Guorong, a journalist from the China News Service, won the first prize in the Sports Action Stories category with his work "Competition on bars". Nanfang Daily’s Chen Kunrong won the second prize in Sports Feature category for "Daily exercise". And "Wolves walking in the desert" by Fan Shangzhen, a photographer from Shangtufang, won the third prize in the Nature Singles category.
